Basic shoemaking step by-step
Wednesday 7th December 2016 to Thursday 8th December 2016
YOU ARE VIEWING AN EVENT THAT HAS ALREADY TAKEN PLACE
This event is available to SATRA members only
The two-day course covers the main materials, product types and manufacturing operations in a simplified way, using SATRA’s own specialist staff. This course is designed to suit both manufacturers and non-shoemaking personnel serving in the industry, and is intended to give a broad appreciation of the manufacturing sector.
This will typically include shoemakers, leather tanners, material suppliers and buyers, as well as sales and administrative staff. Using actual shoemaking materials, examples of product types, printed handouts and videos, the course tutor will explain and discuss the major aspects. Also included is a visit to a manufacturing unit, subject to availability.
